        Land Area: Macau  has an area of 28.2 km² (312.7 square miles). It is comprised of the  Macau Peninsula,  the islands of Taipa and Coloane and the reclaimed area COTAI.

          Languages:  The official languages  are Chinese and Portuguese, while English is widely spoken.           Cantonese is the  dialect most commonly used in everyday dealings but Mandarin is           also widely spoken.antonese 85.7%, Hokkien 4%, Mandarin 3.2%, other Chinese dialects 2.7%, English 1.5%, Tagalog 1.3%, other 1.6% (2001 census)
