California-Asia Business Council, US Trade Development Agency and US Commercial Service SF are pleased to cohost a discussion and reception for ASEAN Smart Grid executives on Monday, April 29, 2013.
USTDA ASEAN Smart Grid Reverse Trade Mission: the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), under the framework of the U.S.-Asia-Pacific Comprehensive Energy Partnership, is bringing a group of senior ASEAN utility representatives to the United States for a Reverse Trade Mission (RTM) from April 25 – May 1, 2013, to build on the key points from the U.S.-ASEAN Smart Grid Workshop held in Hanoi, Vietnam in November 2012. The RTM is designed to assist delegates in identifying the appropriate technical and regulatory solutions to promote reliable, efficient, and cost-effective smart grid investments. The delegates will meet with leading U.S. technology and service suppliers as well as power utilities and U.S. energy and regulatory agencies.
ASEAN Smart Grid Reception in San Francisco. Cal-Asia, in cooperation with USTDA, US Commercial Service of the Department of Commerce, and KPMG LLP, is providing an opportunity for representatives of US Smart Grid technology and service suppliers to meet informally with the 15 delegates from seven ASEAN countries. A brief program including discussion with the delegates will be followed by a networking reception. Delegate biographies can be found on line.
