of Asia Night 2003
More
than 325 Cal-Asia members and guests celebrated Asia Night 2003 on May 2 at
the newly opened Asian Art Museum in San Francisco. The evening featured a
private gallery viewing, a silent auction of Asian treasures, a cutting-edge
fashion show by Azalea of San Francisco, colorful entertainment, and an Asian
fusion dinner. Also, Cal-Asia presented its first New Silk Road Award to Dan
Chao of Bechtel Enterprises (2nd from right in the group photo below) for
leadership in advancing commerce with Asia.
