Artist Pop Zhao's Olympic Dragon banners that were borne aloft over 6 miles of the Great Wall of China (helping Beijing secure the 2008 Olympics), and his Stars and Stripes banners that recently circled Staten Island, will festoon the interior of the Herbst. Shopping for antiques, fashions, restaurants, hotel and travel packages will delight guests, as they mingle with friends – old and new – and enjoy delicious hors d'oeuvres especially prepared by Dan McCall & Associates. After an exquisite dinner, one of Asia's most distinguished business leaders, Washington SyCip, will be presented with Cal-Asia's Second New Silk Road Award.
